NAMA Announces Results for the 2016 Election
This year's elections saw the highest participation level to date. Almost 400 members submitted their ballots to elect the Board members. This was a close election and every vote proved significant.
The results were as follows:
Elected to Three-Year Terms
Elected to Two-Year Term
Directors elected in this year's elections will be formally seated as of November 1, 2016. They will continue through October 31 of the year their terms expire.

On behalf of the Elections Committee and the NAMA Board of Directors, we are very grateful to those who were candidates for this election. Although not all were elected, we recognize the time and commitment made by every candidate. We encourage your continued participation to provide our organization with the hearts, minds, and hands that enable our association to represent the honorable profession of Ayurveda in the United States.
Future Elections and Opportunities
For those who may consider running for the Board in the future, we encourage you to become involved in one of NAMA's committees, sub-committees, or work groups right away. Being involved helps to give you greater insight and understanding of the many elements, projects, and goals that are in place to assure NAMA is leading the way in the United States to make the profession of Ayurveda effective and accepted on a ever-broadening scale.
