State of Residence: California
Committee Service: Communications Committee, Membership Committee
Membership Level: General Member
Why would you like to serve on the board?
Ayurveda has been in my family for generations, but I only started paying serious attention to it after a health scare in my late twenties. Since then I have drawn on my experience as an Inc. 500 entrepreneur to spread awareness and education for this ancient body of wisdom. I believe in what NAMA stands for and wish to fully support this community.
What skills and experience do you see yourself contributing that will support the management, direction, and growth of the association?
I have had quite a journey in my career. In under 11 years, I researched, built, monetized and optimized thousands of marketing campaigns across 100 different industries spanning across dozens of traffic sources, which resulted in over $50 million dollars in sales. I developed proprietary online marketing tracking and management platform which was greeted by $8 million dollars in sales in 14 days. My success landed me in the Inc. 500 (twice) as the CEO and Founder of one the fastest growing companies in America. I went on to build and sell 2 technology education and software companies (online marketing/apps). And now with my 10+ years experience in meditating, marketing, technology, leadership, business and sales to awaken the world through conscious media, I am building educational tribes in various markets with over 250,000 active subscribers and reach to millions with my company Deep Origins. It also led me to develop Ancient Health Care, a company focused solely on Ayurveda.
Statement to the Membership:
Ayurveda goes back 5,000+ years and we’re only now discovering it’s potency on healing our population. In recent years, I grew my internet marketing and media companies to successful heights, but found myself very sick. My health was compromised to say the least. I was stressed, partying, overweight, had a fatty liver, over-worked adrenals and high cholesterol. After the birth of my daughter, I started to eat healthier, exercise, and even quit smoking, but I wasn’t achieving lasting results. That’s when Ayurveda came to me. My wife was deep into yoga and we were always into meditation. We decided to try panchakarma. I had grown up with components of Ayurveda, but I just couldn’t believe how amazing Ayurveda is after it quite literally healed me. It's why with my company Ancient Health Care, I am on a mission to spark an ancient health care revolution across the planet to deliver the science of Ayurveda to 20 million people by 2030 and want to bring this strength to NAMA.
