Communities of Practice
A Community of Practice, or CoP, is defined as a group of people joining together with a common interest, purpose, or geography to explore Ayurveda more deeply and in varied ways.

Friday, May 16
6 - 7 pm
Join your local practitioners for tea and chat. Take this opportunity to meet experts in Ayurveda in an informal setting.
7 - 9 pm
Vasant Lad, BAMS, MASc, Ayurvedic Physician, opens the event with his talk on "Healthy Digestion for a Healthy Life."
This introduction to the Expo
is FREE to everyone.

Saturday starts with an early morning yoga class, open to all registered attendees.
Multiple lectures and classes are offered throughout the day, with a break in the late afternoon for visiting the vendor area and meeting with practitioners.
The evening ends with a celebration of Bhajans (sacred chanting and songs) led by Vasant Lad and accompanied by local musicians.

Albuquerque is served by the Albuquerque International Sunport. It is approximately 15 miles from the airport to the Ayurvedic Institute. Shuttle services are available.
