Upcoming NAMA Events
Seminars in Ayurveda
Developed and hosted by NAMA's Professional Ayurvedic Continuing Education Program (PACE), live Seminars in Ayurveda (SIA) are free, 60-minute, webinars open to members and the public that aim to enhance the Ayurvedic profession through educational engagement. Seminars in Ayurveda are hosted on the 4th Monday of the month from January to October at 5:00 PT.
Research Webinar Series
These are formal, 90-minute educational sessions that take place on October 13, November 10, and December 8, for 2026. They are recorded, eligible for CE credits, and have a paid tier for non-members. The goal is technical: training clinicians in research literacy, case documentation, and ethics.
MINGLES
Mingles are informal digital gathering spaces where Student Members and Professional Members can connect. Students focus on questions they have about the practice of Ayurveda and have a chance to ask questions of Professional Members. Professionals gather in a peer-led community discussion to share their experiences on the mingle’s topic. Mingles are available to members only and will meet at 5:00 p.m. PT | 8 p.m. ET. Student sessions will alternate with professional sessions throughout the year.
Grand Rounds
The purpose of the Grand Rounds is to provide a forum for continuing education, PACE credits, and clinical guidance to support the Ayurveda profession. It offers opportunities to strengthen knowledge of ayurvedic principles for students and to improve clinical skills for practitioners through case discussions.
Grand Rounds is a newer clinical educational series offered by NAMA, designed as a formal clinical meeting where practitioners and students gather to discuss complex clinical cases and exchange professional insights. Unlike standard seminars, these sessions focus on specific clinical conditions.
Audience: The series is virtual and open to all NAMA members.
In-Depth Clinical Learning: Participants gain exposure to specialized medical/Ayurvedic topics.
Professional Exchange: It provides a platform for practitioners to exchange clinical pearls and best practices in a format that encourages professional dialogue [model history].
Science-Informed Approach: The series supports NAMA's broader goal of providing evidence-based, clinical education that practitioners can apply in contemporary practice.
While Seminars in Ayurveda (SIA) are monthly professional benefits often focused on broader educational frameworks (like menopause support), Grand Rounds is specifically structured for detailed clinical case analysis
