Certification & Continuing Education Lead
Reports To: Executive Director
Status: Part-Time, Non-Exempt – FTE: .30 - .40
Schedule: Approximately 12–16 hours per week

Position Summary
The Certification & Continuing Education Coordinator supports the administration and coordination of NAMA’s certification and continuing education programs in partnership with the NAMA Certification Board (NAMACB). This role is primarily responsible for certification exam administration, continuing education tracking, applicant support, and maintaining accurate credentialing records.
This position is designed as a part-time operational support role with opportunity for future growth as organizational programs expand. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, responsive, and comfortable managing administrative workflows in a collaborative nonprofit or association environment.
Primary Responsibilities
Certification Administration
Process certification exam applications and registration materials
Coordinate applicant communications regarding registration, scheduling, and exam status
Assist examinees throughout the certification process
Track certification applications, examination records, and applicant documentation
Maintain certification templates, forms, and administrative records
Prepare and distribute certification certificates
Coordinate with external testing platforms and vendors as needed
Professional Ayurvedic Continuing Education (PACE) Administration
Process continuing education credits for certified professionals and applicable members
Maintain continuing education records within the organization’s Customer Relations Management(CRM) database system
Process and track PACE provider applications and renewals
Assist with biennial certification and continuing education reporting
Maintain accurate certification and continuing education data
Board & Administrative Support
Work in coordination with the NAMA Certification Board (NAMACB) Chair and Executive Director
Attend NAMACB meetings and maintain meeting notes and records
Prepare basic administrative reports and updates as requested
Maintain organized certification and credentialing files
Educational Program Support
Assist with administrative coordination related to educational webinars and Seminars in Ayurveda programs that fall under Professional Ayurvedic Continuing Education (PACE)
Support continuing education documentation and participant tracking
Assist with processing educational surveys and evaluations
Assist in maintaining the Learning Management System (LMS)
General Administrative Support
Maintain organized digital files and process documentation
Respond to certification and continuing education inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Support additional certification and educational administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Required
1–3 years of administrative, nonprofit, education, or membership organization experience
Familiarity with Customer Relations Management (CRM) or Association Management System (AMS) platforms such as MemberClicks
Strong organizational and administrative skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Comfortable learning database and online platform systems
Preferred
Experience working in a nonprofit, association, or educational environment
Experience supporting certification, continuing education, or educational programs
Experience supporting volunteer committees or boards

Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Range: $25–$27/hour depending on experience
