Addiction is so prevalent in our society that it has been called an epidemic as well as a public health crisis. While substance abuse has only recently been recognized by the modern medical profession as a disease, Ayurveda has acknowledged it as such for thousands of years. In this seminar, Molly will outline the areas where Ayurveda can offer the most support for present-day Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment. She will also share findings from field research on possible connections between prakruti and SUD occurrence.
