Alakananda Ma, MBBS, AD, is a NAMA professional member, Ayurvedic Doctor, and serves on the National Ayurvedic Medical Accreditation Council (NAMAC) board. She previously served as NAMA's president and was instrumental in creating national Ayurvedic educational standards. She is principal of Alandi Ayurveda Gurukula, a NAMA recognized Ayurvedic Doctor program.
