PCOS, a hidden epidemic - The growing adulteration of food and unhealthy lifestyle with extreme stress has led to hormonal imbalance in women starting from as young as 8 years old. Genetic propensity makes the problem worse. We will look at the Ayurvedic perspective and management of PCOS during this seminar. Symptoms (rupa) can range from mild to extreme and can lead to insulin resistance, obesity, hirsutism and much more. Brief description of PCOS from mainstream medicine will be given.
