Men’s Health - Management of Mutravaha and Shukhravaha Sroto Vyadhi

NAMA Grand Rounds are educational presentations organized by the NAMA BAMS Task Force, focusing on various pathogenic topics within the scope of Ayurveda. These sessions highlight both the art and science of Ayurvedic medicine, offering in-depth case presentations and clinical discussions on specific subjects. Grand Rounds serve as a platform for sharing clinical insights, promoting evidence-based practices, and fostering collaborative learning among Ayurvedic professionals.

Vd. Ashlesha Raut, B.A.M.S, M.D. (Ayurveda), HHP, RAS, BCIM, ADLC

Vaidya Ashlesha Raut is a classically trained BAMS, MD (Ayurveda) and a third-generation Vaidya, practicing Ayurveda internationally for over 20 years. She currently serves as the Chair of the NAMACB Board and the President of AUM (Ayurveda Union of Midwest).

Passionate about education, Vaidya Ashlesha has taught at several Ayurvedic colleges across multiple U.S. states. She is the Program Director at Ananda Ayurveda Academy and serves as an academic advisor for renowned Ayurveda schools and universities in the United States, including Vivekananda Yoga University (VaYU), California.

Carrying forward her family lineage, she is also an expert clinician. As the Founder and Director of Ayurveda For Healing, Inc., she operates a wellness and Panchakarma center, providing authentic Ayurvedic care to the communities of Bloomington, Chicago, and the greater Midwest region.


Vd. Jayagopal Parla, BAMS,M.D.(Ayurveda), MAOM, AIHM,CMT

Jayagopal Parla (Vaidya Jay) is an internationally known speaker, educator, and practitioner of Ayurvedic medicine and yoga with extensive clinical and teaching experience.

He is the Founder and Director of Athreya Ayurvedic Integrative Health Center, Long Beach; Founder and Vice President of Athreya Herbs, a U.S.-based provider of Ayurvedic herbal formulations; and Director of Athreya Ayurvedic Academy.

He is a Southern California University of Health Sciences faculty member and clinician. Additionally, he serves as faculty at Mount Madonna College of Ayurveda, Kerala Ayurveda Academy, and serves as a visiting faculty member at the Japan School of Ayurvedic Medicine.
