Seminar Description:
This presentation explores the Ayurvedic perspective and management of common men’s health concerns including Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), Erectile Dysfunction (ED), and male infertility. Rooted in the classical principles of Ayurveda, the session will examine the underlying doshic imbalances, tissue health (dhatu), aging processes, and lifestyle factors contributing to these conditions. Emphasis will be placed on preventive care, personalized treatment approaches, herbal therapeutics, diet and lifestyle modifications, rejuvenation therapies (Rasayana), and Panchakarma strategies that support urinary, reproductive, and sexual health. The presentation will also discuss how Ayurveda offers a holistic and integrative framework for improving vitality, fertility, hormonal balance, and quality of life in men.
Bio:
Vaidya. Jayarajan Kodikannath, fondly known as Dr. J, is an internationally renowned Ayurvedic scholar, author, researcher, and educator with over 25 years of clinical practice and academic leadership in India and the United States. A classically trained Vaidya from Kerala, India, he began his career as a lead physician in rural communities, where he touched thousands of lives through root-cause healing rooted in Ayurveda’s timeless wisdom. His clinical expertise spans chronic disorders, pediatric wellness, and mind–body health, and he is widely recognized for his ability to translate ancient Ayurvedic principles into practical, accessible tools for modern well-being.
Currently, Dr. J serves on the Board of Directors of Kerala Ayurveda Ltd (KAL) in India and as the CEO & Academy Director of Kerala Ayurveda USA, one of the most respected Ayurvedic institutions in the West. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA).
