Course Description: Sameeksha is designed to support ongoing professional development for advanced Ayurveda practitioners, BAMS-qualified vaidyas, and faculty members in the United States. The program aligns with the expectations of the Ayurvedic Accreditation Commission (AAC) by promoting academic rigor, clinical competency, faculty development, and continuous quality improvement. It functions as a recurring academic initiative, delivered bimonthly, with clearly defined learning outcomes, assessment mechanisms, and documentation processes.
Course Objectives: Upon completing this program, participants will be able to:
Apply advanced clinical decision-making skills in Ayurveda
Strengthen their teaching effectiveness and academic delivery
Integrate classical Ayurvedic knowledge with modern clinical contexts
Demonstrate research literacy and adherence to standardized reporting guidelines
Contribute to a collaborative academic and professional community
Sameeksha is hosted by Princy Prasad, BAMS, MS (Ayu), PhD (Ayu), and brings together a distinguished group of Ayurvedic specialists, experts, and leaders from India. Each of the six sessions is led by a different faculty member, offering participants a range of perspectives rather than a single instructor's approach. The faculty includes senior Vaidyas from Kerala, academic researchers, Panchakarma specialists, and Jayarajan Kodikannath, BSc, BAMS, Director of Kerala Ayurveda Academy. Together, they combine classical Ayurvedic knowledge with clinical experience and current research.
