The program places a special emphasis on digestion and detoxification, recognizing these as foundational to health and longevity. Through a combination of theory, experiential learning, and practical application, students develop the knowledge and skills to support balance and harmony of body, mind, and spirit.

Course Objective:

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
Integrate Ayurvedic and yogic practices into personalized wellness programs.

  • Apply Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy principles based on an individual’s constitutional type (prakriti) and current state of balance (vikriti).

  • Perform foundational tongue and pulse assessments to support individualized care.

  • Utilize therapeutic yoga, pranayama (breathwork), meditation, mantra, mudra, chakra balancing, and marma therapy as complementary healing practices.

  • Incorporate Ayurvedic nutrition, herbs, spices, digestion, detoxification, and daily routines (dinacharya) into holistic wellness recommendations.

  • Understand the role of srotas (body channels) and nadis (energy pathways) in restoring and maintaining health.

  • Develop practical skills to help clients cultivate balance, resilience, and overall well-being through the integrated application of Ayurveda and Yoga Therapy.

Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist - Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy personalizes the yogic practice for each individual based on his or her constitutional type and current state of being. These sister sciences are most effective when practiced together. In our programs we meet one full weekend per month to immerse ourselves in and integrate the ancient arts of Ayurveda & Yoga into our body, mind and spirit. Ayurvedic wisdom says that "a person is as old as their digestive system"; therefore, we have a special emphasis on digestion and detoxification in this program. This is about personal immersion into these ancient sacred sciences through tongue and pulse reading, an individualized approach to yoga, pranayama (focused breath-work), diet & spices, meditation, mantra, mudra, chakra, srotas, nadi and marma balancing, as well as dinacharya (daily living routines) to restore balance and harmony.
